Why a tour of the Central Library?
The Central Library supplements all branches with materials and resources which are impossible to provide in small community libraries. Many of these resources, such as periodicals, an extensive reference area, and computers with internet access and word processing will be required of students to complete assignments and research papers.
The youth(wired) department specializes in helping teens, from the ages of 13-18, find the information resources they need for school projects. The department consists of computer terminals with internet access, microsoft office suite, and many other educational software products. youth(wired) also houses the ya fiction and the ya magazines.
